Learn how to build an AirCrete Dome! This is an in depth and comprehensive 10-day workshop where you'll deepen your connection to your creative spirit learning the fine art of AirCrete Architecture, and have the time of your life with new friends from around the world! This is your chance to learn how to build your own structurally reinforced AirCrete dome home with your own hands!
GETTING HERE
The DomeGaia workshop will be held at The Sanctuary.
It is a private home & retreat center located in Bonsall, California, which is part of North San Diego County, about 15 mins inland from the ocean.
NEAREST AIRPORTS:

San Diego Airport (code: SAN) is 45 mins South and is the closest.

If you do not have a car, it is easy to take a Lyft or Uber from San Diego airport (cost is $60 - $80). You can also ride share with other guests, or there are other public ride share van options that may be less.
FOOD
We will have a professional chef on site who will be preparing all our healthy meals!
The meal plan includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as unlimited access to tea, coffee, and fresh Spring water direct from a local mountain.
Dishes will be primarily vegetarian and vegan, organic wherever possible, with fish and chicken options at some dinners. Additional drinks / alcohol not included.

If you are staying off site (with friends, local AirBnB): You may purchase JUST a lunch meal plan (includes lunch and unlimited tea/coffee/Spring Water) for the 10 days. This means you are eating breakfast & dinner OFF SITE.

CHILDREN: Kids under age 5 eat free. Kids age 5 - 12, meal plan cost of $200 ($20/day for 3 meals/day + water/juice). Children age 13+, regular cost meal plan. EMAIL US
Please know we live in a rural area with very few restaurant choices nearby.
IMPORTANT: There is a healthy grocery store 15+ mins down the highway called Sprouts, HOWEVER: fridge space is highly limited and it is unlikely we will be able to provide cold food storage for you. You are welcome to store dry goods. We apologize but we also cannot allow anyone else to use the kitchen for cooking meals.

ACCOMMODATIONS
We are located in a rural area, hotels and AirBnB options are limited. We are offering affordable accommodations ON SITE at various price levels to fit every budget, so you do not have to worry about driving back and forth each day. And, you'll get to make new friends and bond with other workshop attendee's visiting from all over the world!
BONUS: On some nights we'll gather around the outdoor fire pit under the full moon, celebrate with live music, or snuggle up inside next to a big cozy fireplace with special late night desserts. We'll be offering some other goodies for those staying on site to make your stay extra special!
AirBnB: options are limited, but you can look for homes in Bonsall, Vista or Fallbrook, prices range from $130 - $300+/night. Beware that Vista / Fallbrook are very spread out - you could be 15 mins away or 40 mins away in traffic if you are on the opposite side of the city! Check the exact distance from our location before booking)

Bring your own tent and set it up on our property (there is a flat grass lawn, as well as many areas on the lower property near the build).

DORM STYLE
(SHARED SPACE)
We have dorm style sleeping in 2 large rooms inside the home. Bathrooms in same hallway. This is a shared sleeping space with 4 to 6 other people, each person will have their own very comfortable 4" thick eco-mattresses that are on the floor. Pillows and blankets provided.
Please note it is our intention to create one dorm sleeping space for women, and a separate dorm space for men.

Glamping tents are 13' round and made from cotton canvas. They are carpeted, have a bed off the ground, and come with a side table and lighting. Full bedding provided including soft sheets and comforter. We also provide a small portable heater. Please let us know if you are a couple wanting to share a queen bed, or 2 twin beds.

RV & CAMPER VAN SPACE
If you have a camper van, we have some available space for you to park. Availability will depend on how many campers and their size, so please EMAIL US before booking as we've had numerous inquiries!
We do not have water hookups, however you will have access to inside bathrooms and showers (and water hoses are nearby to fill up tanks).

**If you prefer to make your own breakfast & dinner in your camper, then we will provide a LUNCH ONLY (+ tea/coffee/unlimited Spring Water) meal plan for you. Cost would then be $200 meal plan + $300 camper van spot = $500 for the 10 days.
TRIBAL SUITE:
Private Room
This is a beautiful large room with tall vaulted ceilings, a skylight, large glass windows looking out to the property, and an extensive collection of sacred shaman tools displayed on the wall. There will be a full or queen size eco-mattress bed, use of shared bathroom down the hallway. All bedding is provided.

SAN DIEGO WILD ANIMAL SAFARI PARK
Within a 15 minute drive is a large wild animal safari park that replicates an African safari. Take a jeep ride and see giraffes, rhinoceros, elephants, lions and more. Great for adults and kids.

ENCINITAS & SELF REALIZATION CENTER
This is a beach town 35 mins South with a very conscious crowd. It has great beaches, dozens of restaurants (many vegan and raw), unique shops, and the famous Self Realization Center and Meditation Gardens (free) founded by Paramahansa Yoganada. You'll also find a lot of yoga studios, ecstatic dance events, sound healings, drum circles, and other tribe gatherings.
TEMECULA
Within a 25 min drive is a city well known for its wine farms. Visit wineries and go on a wine tasting tour! www.visittemeculavalley.com

DOLPHIN & WHALE WATCHING
Head 45 mins North to Dana Point, and get on a dolphin boat charter. They'll take you out for a 2 hour boat ride to see the resident dolphin pods (which number in the 1000's), and sometimes local whales! www.danawharf.com
DISNEYLAND
Head 1 hour North to Anaheim to visit Disneyland and the new Disney California Adventure Park (dozens of rides for adults!).
LOS ANGELES AND HOLLYWOOD
If you have a lot of time, drive 2 hours North (or take the train) into Los Angeles. Visit Hollywood, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, and all the famous sites.
EXTRAS
DOGS: Please email us if you want to bring your dog. We have a wolf hybrid who is shy around humans but very loving. She can be territorial with dogs BUT will play with other medium to large dogs so long as they are not aggressive. If they act aggressively she will establish herself as alpha and it may not go well for your dog. For their own safety, no miniature dogs or dogs that bark a lot. Please be aware we have no fencing, and there are numerous coyotes that come through our land on a nightly basis that will come after small dogs. No dogs allowed inside the home
CHILDREN: We love them and have our 2 young ones here! But...while children are allowed as part of the workshop, we ask you please not bring young children under age 10 unless there is someone who is watching them full time. If you require a nanny, we can give you the contact information for our nannies (you pay them directly). The land and inside the home has many areas where small children can hurt themselves and we cannot be responsible for watching children and cannot allow them inside the home without full time adult supervision. For children above age 6, additional meal cost will apply (children's rate of $200 for 10 days)
NOISE: We live in a private community. Noise, aside from the build, must be kept to a minimum out of respect for our neighbors. No yelling, loud music from speakers, or equipment please at night. Please be mindful.
HOUSE: Please respect this is also our personal home. You are free to use the common areas inside and outside the house, but please help keep things tidy and report anything that needs attending to.
LAUNDRY: We will make our laundry room available if you need to wash clothes. Please be mindful of water use.
SHOWERS: We have 3 guest bathrooms with showers and tubs. Please bring only eco-friendly soaps and shampoos as we are on septic and everything drains to our land.
HAVE FUN: We go out of our way to make your stay enjoyable, so relax and enjoy the workshop! We'll handle the rest.
