About The Sanctuary
Welcome to The Sanctuary, a private 3-acre retreat center home situated in the hills of North San Diego County. The Sanctuary was dreamed into existence when owners John & Eden were searching for land they could host their workshops. It couldn't be just any land - they wanted a sacred site upon which they could come into
harmony with its energy, and create an idyllic space for small retreats that supported individuals
physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
The Sanctuary is located just 20 minutes inland from the ocean, at the peak of a small mountain within a private luxury community. It began as a Macadamia nut farm built and run by the same family for more than 35 years, boasting 144 macadamia nut trees, a blood orange grove, a massive Mother Tree with a 40 foot wide canopy, and abundant wildlife such as hawks, owls, and rabbits. It is a serene and quiet location away from the city bustle that deeply supports transformational work. John & Eden work tirelessly to support the land and its energies to create a pristine container for transformation that nourishes the heart and supports the soul.
The long term vision for The Sanctuary is a space where community can come together in a private, home like setting for intimate gatherings, workshops, retreats, and sacred experiences that further humanity's awakening consciousness.
Most workshops are not currently posted online, so please ask to be on our private mailing list to be informed of upcoming retreats and opportunities.

Shai'ya Ray
Shai'ya Ray is a wolf hybrid (timber wolf/arctic wolf/husky) who came to Eden in a vision while in the Amazon Jungle, shortly after they acquired The Sanctuary. This wolf let her know she would soon be coming to the property to be a partner in their journey. Shai'ya - which we came to learn means "Gift from God" in Hebrew - is now 4 years old, and she patrols the property daily, anchoring her love and watchful eye over its energies. Shai'ya has participated in many ceremonies on this land in magical ways that defy human logic, and at times comes to people in need exactly when they need it most. If you're lucky you'll catch a glimpse of her or find yourself eye-to-eye with this magical being.
